Sometimes, a fill is all it takes.
Everyone notices. Nobody knows why.
Scalp micropigmentation in Scottsdale — hairlines, beard density, scar camouflage, and women's density. Non-surgical. Immediate. Built one follicle at a time.
New Studio Special $349 a session — first touch-up included. The going rate in Scottsdale is $600.Case files, shown healed.
Most studios photograph results the day of the session, when pigment is at its darkest and sharpest. Every case here is shown healed, weeks later — the way it actually looks when you're living with it.
Case 001
Hairline & Scalp
A receded hairline rebuilt point by point — density through the crown, and an edge drawn to suit his face, not a stencil.

Case 002
Beard Density
Patchy growth filled and a beard line defined — blended into the existing hair so the finish reads as growth, not work.

Case 003
Women's Density
A widening part narrowed by building density beneath the existing hair — no shaving, no surgery, nothing to explain.

Density, demonstrated.
Scalp micropigmentation is thousands of individual pigment deposits, placed by hand at a controlled depth, until sparse reads as full.
Each point is matched to your skin tone and set at the papillary layer — shallow enough to stay crisp, deep enough to last years. Built up across two to three sessions, the result is the look of a closely-shaved head of hair, or density beneath thinning hair, that holds up at conversation distance.
- Non-surgical — no incisions, no recovery period
- Immediate, natural-looking results
- Pigment custom-blended to every skin tone
- Lasts 3–6 years with minimal maintenance
Drag the slider → sparse becomes full. The same area, at increasing deposit counts — this is the entire procedure.
Four ways to fill in.
Hairline & Scalp SMP
Restore a sharp, natural hairline or recreate the look of a full head of closely-shaved hair. For receding hairlines, bald spots, and full-scalp pattern baldness.
S·02Beard SMP
Fill patchy areas, define your beard line, and add the appearance of fuller, denser facial hair. A clean finish that blends seamlessly with your existing growth.
S·03Scar Camouflage
Conceal scars from FUT/FUE transplants, surgery, or injury. Pigment is layered to mimic follicles and blend scar tissue into the surrounding scalp.
S·04Women's Density
A non-invasive answer to thinning hair, widening parts, and see-through crowns. Adds the look of density for female pattern baldness, alopecia, and post-partum thinning.

With Marvin Furrow · SMP INK
Karissa · Perfect Ink SMP
I'm Karissa.
I trained under Marvin Furrow — co-founder of SMP INK, and one of the most respected scalp artists working today. He judged the International World Beauty Cup for the USA in 2023.
What I took from him wasn't a technique. It was a standard.
Hair loss is personal. I've watched people sit down in my chair holding themselves a certain way, and stand up holding themselves differently. Watching someone look in the mirror and smile again — that's the whole job.

Four steps. No surprises.
Consultation
Free, no pressure. I assess your scalp, listen to what you actually want, and design a plan and a hairline that suits your face and your age.
Mapping & Pigment Match
I map your hairline by hand and custom-blend pigment to your exact hair color and skin tone. This is the hour that busy studios compress into fifteen minutes.
Application
Layered micro-pigmentation across 2–3 comfortable sessions, spaced a couple of weeks apart so the color can settle before we build on it. Topical numbing throughout.
Healing & Aftercare
You leave with immediate results and clear aftercare. We check the healed result together and refine anything that needs it — your first touch-up is included.
More time. More care. More results.
Every result builds my portfolio.
Right now, every session I take on becomes part of my portfolio — so nothing gets rushed. I'll spend an hour mapping your hairline that a busy studio might give fifteen minutes, because your result has to be perfect for both of us.
Trained to a standard, not a shortcut.
I learned under one of the best in the industry. Every hairline is mapped by hand to your face shape, your age, and how you actually want to look.
Pigment matched to you.
Custom-blended to your exact hair color and skin tone. Not a shade off a chart.
Comfort taken seriously.
Topical numbing and strict sanitary standards. Most clients describe it as mildly uncomfortable, not painful.
It doesn't end when you walk out.
Full aftercare guidance, and your first touch-up is included.
New Studio Special

The going rate in Scottsdale — $600
I've just opened my Scottsdale studio, and I'd rather fill my book with great work than wait around for full price. Every session is $349 while the opening rate lasts, and your first touch-up is included.
It's also my portfolio rate — opening-rate sessions include permission to document your results, before and healed.

Asked, answered.
Q·01Is SMP painful?
Most clients report only minimal discomfort. Topical anesthetic numbs the scalp, making it a comfortable, virtually pain-free experience.
Q·02How many sessions will I need?
Most treatments take 2–3 sessions spaced a couple of weeks apart. The exact number depends on the area, your goals, and the treatment type — we map this out at your consultation.
Q·03How long do results last?
SMP is a long-term solution that typically lasts three to six years. Most clients need only a minor touch-up every few years to keep it sharp.
Q·04Does SMP work for scars and transplant lines?
Yes. It's one of the most effective ways to camouflage FUT/FUE transplant scars, surgical scars, and injuries by blending pigment into the surrounding scalp.
Q·05Is SMP only for men?
Not at all. It's highly effective for women with thinning, widening parts, female pattern baldness, alopecia, and scarring.
Q·06What's the aftercare like?
For the first 24 hours after each session, avoid sweating and showering. For a short period after, also avoid direct sunlight, swimming, and certain hair products. You'll get detailed, easy-to-follow instructions.
